We live on a Christmas tree farm, we have planted, and watered many of the trees over the last 20 years and it is a sad thing when harvest time rolls around every year, sad and painful.
I’m thinking that perhaps I can make a ‘tree’ out of old rusted barbed wire…my husband and son think I’m weird…maybe…~lol~…

That is so cool. One year, when my kids were little, I purchased a “potted” cedar. We had a blast enjoying Christmas and the tree, which I think got overwatered by excited kids. Afterwards, a male cousin planted the tree in our front yard. The sad part is we were renting and moved, but to my knowledge the tree is still there.
